Aurora Vein

I erupted a spine of metallic silver vertically through a field of jewel-tone color, teal pulling into deep cobalt, magenta blooming into violet, all of it cracking open around the central burst. I made the composition radiate: every color reaches outward from the bright core. Dense cellular pour detail runs through the brightest zones; bubbles, lacing, and tide-like patterns that only resolve up close. From across the room the piece reads as pure color and motion. Step closer and a second composition emerges in the way the pigments interact. This is what happens when I let controlled pour meet uncontrolled chemistry. The jewel palette pulls in opposite directions, cool teal against warm magenta, and the silver spine holds the tension at center. Nothing here is muted. Nothing is balanced for safety. I built real texture into the surface and a high-gloss finish that catches metallic detail differently from every angle. Light at different times of day pulls out different parts of the spectrum: morning leans into the teals, evening into the magentas. At 24x36, the piece holds a focal wall on its own and brings a strong color story into otherwise quiet rooms. I designed it for spaces where neutrals dominate and one bold piece is enough to define the room. The diagonal-spine composition is the chromatic sibling to Silver Vein, same architecture, opposite palette.
